Kindred Company

Kindred company
is such sweet balm
after solitude
Every wonder
made more full
by its sharing
All the magic
held now forever
In-between
A treasure house
of "we" and "us"
threading stories
through the sheer
fabric of space
now held safe
Now held sacred
in the holy body
of kinship
Enlarging the organ
of friendship
to hold the sun
far greater than
its parts
an exponential alchemy
of joy
to quench a thirsty heart
to make me smile
nay, laugh out loud
in the sweet freedom
of unequivocal Love
and once again
remember
I am never just me
but always a "we"
Red threads weaving
through all the
In-betweens
The wild web
of Life Itself
All parts at home
Within the Whole
The fullest wonder
of all
If only we knew
Deep in our bones
Perhaps parting
would be more
than just sweet sorrow.
(Thank you my dear Sarah...)
